TERMS AND
CONDITIONS
* By chosing for
Brussels Walks you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take
immediate effect. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the terms
please do not book tours with Brussels Walks.
* Brussels Walks
may change these terms at any time by posting changes online. Please review
these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by the
Brussels Walks. Your continued use of Brussels Walks after changes are posted
means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.
* In case of a coach tour, or
unless explicitly agreed by Brussels Walks, our guides will not
take groups over 17 people. This is in
the interest of both the guide and of the audience.
* Tours can be ordered by
phone, mail or email. Brussels
Walks will always confirm the agreement in writing. Brussels Walks will book the best
available guide only after the customer has accepted our written confirmation.
* A half day walk or coach
tour will last maximum 3 hours, a full day tour maximum 8 hours. A half day assignment costs € 110, a
full day assignment € 197.
An additional cost of € 25 will be due for each extra hour. Last minute
bookings (less than one week between booking and tour)
are liable to an extra charge of € 20.
* In case of a full day
assignment, the guide will be asked to join the group for lunch or be paid € 15
extra.
* Unless explicitly agreed,
payments are made directly to our guides.
* Our guides will wait at the
meeting point for no more than one hour if the group is delayed without
informing Brussels Walks and/or their guide thereof. The time of delay will be deducted
from the total time of the tour. Each delay should be notified immediately by
calling the phone number provided on the booking confirmation. The agreed amounts will remain due.
* In case of cancellation,
following amounts are due :

cancellation
more than 2 weeks prior to the date of the tour : € 20

cancellation
more than 5 calendar days but less than 2 weeks prior to the date of the tour : € 50.

Cancellation
less than 5 calendar days prior to the date of the tour, or in case of no-show : the full amount will be due
* Brussels Walks cannot be
held liable in case one of our guides would show up too late.
* By (electronically) signing
for approval, the group and their responsible formally acknowledge having read
and accepted these terms and conditions.
* This
contract is a legally binding document. If any of these
terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by
reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to
be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term
is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from
these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and
effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
* These terms shall
be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Belgium.
